Make room for a pause

You can
put your feet
down here.

There’s something welcome about a visit that asks you to sit comfortably and stop rushing for a little while.

Our ionic footbath uses the IonCleanse Premier system by A Major Difference. Your feet rest in a prepared water bath while an array creates an ionic environment through electrolysis.

Our team sets up your session, explains what to expect, and helps you choose how it fits into your visit.

IonCleanse® by A Major Difference

What is an ionic footbath?

Water.
An ionic array.
A seated session.

The IonCleanse system uses an electrical current in an array placed in the water. This process, called electrolysis, changes the chemistry of the water during your session.

You may see the water change color or notice particles. Water, added salt, and the metal array can cause these changes even without feet in the bath. AMD calls the background color associated with the local water supply “regional toxicity.” In AMD’s color-chart framework, changes beyond that background color are interpreted as relating to different body-system meridians.

Blood-metal report: The 12-week programme combined twice-weekly IonCleanse sessions, meditation, and nutritional supplementation. The reported changes reflect the combined programme.

These are before-and-after group averages, not a prediction of individual results or proof that footbaths alone caused the changes.

A few things to know

Curious?
Let’s make
it clear.

Why does the water change color?

Water, added salt, and the metal array create a background color, even without feet in the bath. AMD refers to this as “regional toxicity.” AMD uses its color chart to interpret additional colors and particles in relation to body-system meridians.

Can IonCleanse help with my detox efforts?

In a small AMD-funded study, the 10 participants receiving IonCleanse sessions had a reported 48% decrease in mean urinary glyphosate levels over 30 days. They received twelve 30-minute sessions. Read the original study.

Who should avoid the IonCleanse system?

The manufacturer says it should not be used by people with pacemakers or other electrical implants, people who are pregnant or nursing, organ transplant recipients, or people taking heartbeat-regulating medicines, blood thinners, or medicines whose absence could cause mental or physical impairment. Tell us about your medications and health history before booking. Do not stop or change medication to use this service.

Can you combine it with another service?

Yes, you can stack some appointments together! Simply ask our team what services pair well together.

How often should you visit?

Following AMD’s general guidance, clients under 50 can schedule a session every other day, and clients over 50 can schedule a session every third day. If you feel fatigued, choose a shorter session and allow extra time between visits. Enjoy a 20-minute ionic footbath session at The Lymph Lab.
